Lighthearted petals, unfolding wide
Reveal filaments of innocent pride
While delicate fragrances sing
Smiles now bloom in Spring
.
The grace that falls from poufs of love
Makes stigma rear their heads above
To lavish praise and laud the King
For smiles now bloom in Spring
.
The gardener’s expert fingers
Apply quickening touch that lingers
Then extend his signet ring
That gleams as smiles that bloom in Spring

This makes me want spring in the northwest! So far, just cold and rain and hail !! But spring is around the corner, and your poem makes me almost smell the scent or roses! Thanks for the uplift! Lovely, light poem!

Thank you! I’m glad you like it! Do doubt you’ll appreciate Spring once it comes your way

This has such a great rhythm and the rhyme is excellent. Repeating your title throughout is very effective, and even more so with the rhyming. Love happy little poems like this, and especially when there are so many layers that can be explored here! Another fantastic write!
